What is Gaia Glitter?
Gaia Glitter is Wise Child Botanicals Biodegradable Glitter Line. Gaia Glitter is biodegradable, which uses plant derived material rather than polyester. Once it enters the environment microbes will consume the biodegradable content turning it into carbon dioxide, water and biomass. The biodegrading speed depends upon local environmental factors such as heat, moisture and concentration of microbes. Important: Gaia Glitter contains no harmful chemicals, and contains ingredients either approved for cosmetic use on skin & hair. While currently no glitter on the market is 100% biodegradable, Gaia Glitter is committed to being an earth-friendly choice, with primary ingredients sourced from renewable resources such as corn and eucalyptus. Most of our glitter is Bioglitter® brand. We do offer a few other sources for ecofriendly glitter. Please reach out to us and we can let you know which glitters are Bioglitter® PURE, Bioglitter® SPARKLE, and ecofriendly.
What is Bioglitter® PURE and Bioglitter® SPARKLE ?
Bioglitter® SPARKLE, its 92% plastic-free and independently tested to prove it will degrade in natural freshwater environments and not just an industrial, or home composter. Bioglitter® PURE, its 100% plastic-free and Certified ‘OK Biodegradable WATER’ by TÜV, a world first.

Are you the makers of the glitter?
No. We buy our glitter in kilos from Bioglitter® and a few other companies. The glitter comes in sizes from ultra fine to chunky and in solid colors. We create the signature blends. We offer over 400 different blends.
Is Gaia Glitter Cruelty Free?
Yes. Gaia Glitter is cruelty free
Is Gaia Glitter edible?
No! DO NOT CONSUME. Even though our glitters are non toxic please do not eat.
Is it normal for some colors bleed on my skin?
Yes! We do experience color bleed with some of our products on some users, it usually the blue, green and purple colors. Water or sweat sometimes causes the bleed. If you do experience any bleed you can remove it with by first putting a dab of coconut oil on your skin, then cleaning the area with lukewarm water and soap on cloth. The bleed is completely unharmful and does not give any longtime staining.
How can Gaia Glitter be used?
We recommend you test our glitters before using them to make sure they will work for your specific project. Gaia Glitter is cosmetic grade so it can be used as makeup and body glitter.
Can be used on wax melts and candles. PLEASE TEST BURN.
Safe for bath bombs and soaps.
Safe for nail art
Safe for craft items, please test.
What are the different sizes for Gaia Glitter and how much glitter in each size?

5ml reusable jar is approx. 2-4 grams depending on glitter blend
10ml reusable jar is approx. 5-7 grams depending on glitter blend
15 ml reusable jar is approx 9- 12 grams depending on glitter blend.
5ml reusable Glass jar is approx. 2-4 grams depending on glitter blend

What is your processing time?
Our processing time varies day by day. Please see the banner on the top of our website. Processing time is the amount of time it takes us to fulfill your order and give to Post office from when you order. If you need us to Rush your processing time please choose the RUSH item here
Candles and wax melts are made to order so may take a few days to ship.
Ready to ship items will have ready to ship in their title and will ship within 24-48 hours.
What is the shipping process?
We ship using USPS. We do ship worldwide. We ship Monday-Friday, except US Holidays and vacations. We ship using standard first class mail, you can upgrade to expedited(usps priority). Please note these shipping times are approximate. Once we drop the package off with USPS any delays with USPS are out of our hands.
